Crop Pollination

Pollination is the process by which pollen is transferred in plants, thereby enabling fertilization, and reproduction.

As stated on the opening page, Berry and Gerron are the bee handlers, and Crop pollination is the main function of Bee Blessed Pure Honey. As pollinators we follow the blooms of a variety of crops across the Carolinas. The crops vary as do the seasons. We are commercial pollinators (Sideliners). Our bees work on cucumbers, strawberries, pumpkins,squash, watermelons, cantelopes, and so on. We start taking orders for Hives in January and February for the upcoming season. All Pollination jobs are contracted between Bee Blessed Pure Honey and the farmer. Berry & Gerron go to the farm and see where and how many bees the farmer wants. All of the preliminaries are worked out at that time.

We also do presentations at schools, churches, Boy Scouts,  Future Farmers of America, and any group that have a interest in honey bees.
